Support time slots in Console Change Calendar app & Calendar dashboard widget
I was just looking at the console Change Calendar app and noticed something I believe is missing that I want to suggest enhancement in the Console Change Calendar app as well as in a future calendar dashboard widget.
What I believe is missing are time slots in a daily and weekly view (not monthly) of the calendar. It would be great if this app & widget would have a view/views that would support configurable (likely 60 or 30?) minute time slots and at run-time, display Work Items spanning the appropriate time time slots in the widget.
One of the items Change board meetings that I’ve been involved with are looking to the change calendar for is to identify timing conflicts between multiple changes. For example, 2 different application CR’s that are scheduled for the same day & time. While the application teams performing the change would likely be different (and not in conflict), the database team could be in conflict if both teams need the same db resource at the same time (say for example the scheduled work is after hours and there is only a single db resource on call at that time).
