Sneak Peek: Advance Request Offering Updates
With Advance Request Offering, you've long been able to truly tailor requests to make them friendly for people at every level of your organization. But soon, we'll be giving you the ability to take your processes further and make your automation simpler.
So let's talk Query Results. Whether you have a picker of Users, Computers, Azure Resource Groups, Software Updates, or even your own Custom Configuration Items wouldn't it be great to map a property from a selection directly to a field? Multiple Mapping now lets you pick the Query Result, then with a new drop down arrow choose which Display Property you want to map.
But what about Query Results driving other prompts and their visibility? Up until now it's been specific Config Items you've selected like below:
But if we go one step further, we can now control prompts based on the property of the CI. With "Advance Query" as long as the User selected has a Department property that contains the word "Resources" then show the Reason prompt. Any Config Item, any Property, all the control.

Hi Adam,
especially the new layout conditions are great news! ;)
Do you already have a plan which version will contain these features?
This will be part of our next release in v11.1
Just pulled down v11.0 for our test portal. The ARO update will be a major factor for a service catalog refresh.
The above ARO enhancements are now live with v11.1. You can get a full run down on the blog over here.
