Hardware Asset search takes longer than normally

Hello,

since a few days we experience bad performance at the Hardware Asset search in the Cireson Portal. Normally the results come after a few seconds, now it takes up to two minutes to find an asset.

When we search for Software Assets the answers come nearly instant.

Does anyone have an idea what we can do in this case?

    We already solved it by restarting the Cireson Cache Builder and Plattform Cache.

    In which case, it's worth highlighting that Global Search which is now included in the portal offers the ability to search anything in Service Manager. Work Items or any Config Item (Hardware Assets, SCOM classes, or even your own custom CIs). I highly recommend checking it out for all sorts of reasons. Just to name a few:

    • Custom URL Redirects and Icons per class
    • Request Offering/Comment Search
    • Controlling what is searched by default
