Integrating non-Microsoft tech with Service Manager

Whether you are just starting with automation or well along your journey, questions that always come up are:

  • What do you automate first/next?
  • How can you identify painpoints within your organizational processes quickly?
  • How can you trigger an action external to Service Manager?

And if you were going to highlight all of those processes in a really short, digestible way you may end up detailing how you connected a 3d printer to Service Manager. Which is exactly what I did!

    I have done integrations with PlanOn, Nagios, and an external ticketing system. The combination of SCOrch, SCSM, and the Cireson Portal can do magic if you take the time (and tons of patience) to figure it out. :-)
