Config Manager Ticker App Feature Request - Cancel Announcements

It would be great to see the ability to Cancel sent announcements or to be able to post new announcements over the top of old ones.
We use the Ticker to post announcements to our Contact Centre regarding service outages. If the issue is resolved in less time than that announcement period is set to, we have to wait until the previous message expires before we can tell the Contact Centres the issue is resolved.
I have another niggle an will post a separate thread as per Wally's request in another thread.
