Remove old SCCM Connector

Brian_WinterBrian_Winter Customer Advanced IT Monkey ✭✭✭

We noticed that our current Config Man Connector wasn't pulling in all computers in our collection. We disabled the connector and recreated a new connector with the same settings. It worked and pulled in all computers in the collection.

Can we delete the old, disabled connector? Any risks? Worried we'll loose data.

    Hi @Brian_Winter

There is a risk of losing old data. Any devices which where removed from SCCM before the second connector was created could be deleted from SCSM when you delete the first connector. Lots of customers don't really care about this as they use HWAs to represent 'long ago' devices but they might be important to you.

My advise is: If in doubt, just leave the connected disabled forever.
