Permissions for Sending via Cloud Only User (smtp.office.com)
for our new environment we want to set up an exchange online connector with an exchange online mailbox for our Subscription Workflow Account and additionally a cloud only user, who might send mails with the Send Mail Activity via SMTP Server smtp.office.com.
Our infrastructure team created the cloud only account and we already filled everything in the smtp settings of the portal. Of course the send mail fails :D
So my question is, which prerequisites have to be fullfilled so it works? Is the subscription workflow account already needed (we just wanna try the send mail , we do not want to reply to these mails yet - so I filled the username as return e-mail address)? Which account needs the internet permission to have access to smtp.office.com? Do our Management Servers need permissions to access smtp.office.com?
