Partially Processed Cubes in SCSM Warehouse

Hi All

About 3 days ago are DW cubes came up at partially processed and sicne then restarting them or stopping or starting services has not resolved the issue, the cubes last processed on the 3 March 2023. we have rebooted the landscape and checks all the service accounts and nothing has changed.

anyone come across this in SCSM 2019 and managed to resolve it?

    I had a similar problem where our datawarehouse went wrong and cubes half processed. The SQL on the main SCSM server went wrong and so it affected our separate DWH server. In the end I restore the DWH server from backup. Microsoft maybe able to help too, or use the Microsoft forum?

    Thanks for the advice. We are considering restoring the DWH, just to track when this issue first occured,there were times the cube ran and processed and then stopped.

    We contacted out Microsoft account manager as well to assit, we could potentially lose a few days of incidents. We also thinking of maybe re registering the DW but not sure if that will lead to data loss as well.

    Will let you guys know if we find a suitable solution for this that does not involve data loss.

    Is your DWH on a separate server to your service manager?

    Yes it is .

    Could you restore from backup? Once the restore has happened the DWH should resync by jobs and should be ok?

    Hi Guys,

    We finally managed to resolve this.

    We logged on the DW Server and using SSAS ran each cube one at a time. We had to “Process Update” the dimension first - Workitem. We found that certain dimensions had to be deleted and recreated. Once we did that the cubes processed sucessfully and have been since the 8 March 2023 and have been running with no issues since.
