Setting up access for RPA
Hi,
We are trying to set up Robot Process Automation (RPA) on the portal. We need to set up an account to access the portal. It is in all the correct AD groups, but when we try to log in to our dev environment we are told 'You do not have the required permissions to login' In the first instance we want to access Dev for testing purposes, but even when we try to log in to live, we get asked to sign in and it won't accept the credentials. I have no idea why this should be as we are really just setting up an account as usual, so it should work. Can anybody tell me what I am missing?

Hi Phil,
I'm guessing that account is not in scope of the AD connector so it is not being synced into SCSM.
Check the OU and LDAP filter on your AD connector and maybe create a new one to sync in the RPA accounts.
Finally, (and for anyone else reading) RPA is great but if you want to interact with SCSM / Cireson via automation, we do have a full suite of APIs which might be more efficient.

Hi Geoff,
Thank you. We have checked the AD Connector and it all looks fine, but we still can't log in.
Is there any tracing we can do to see why the login is failing?
