Block users from creating new requests/incidents in Cireson Portal

Hi All,
We have a request to block users (all or from certain AD Group) from creating new incidents and requests in Cireson Portal.
What could be the best way to achieve this?

    You mean they shall not be able to create these new work Items via the New Button on the bottom left in the Portal? In the work item settings you can set AD groups who shall be able to do that. If you want every user to have access to that, except this AD group, you would have to create an AD group with ALL users, except these and then set this AD group to be allowed to create Work Items with the NEW button.
    It would be easier to only allow one certain group to create work items via the NEW button (in our case only analysts) and let the rest create them e.g. via Request Offerings in a Service Offering. You could then control the access to this service offering via SCSM user groups and exclude these users from this access - sounds like a lot of work though :/

    You would need to ensure they are not synced in by the AD Connector within SCSM

    We still need everyone to be able to have access to already existing tickets. Will making users not synced achieve this?
