Adding Users as Analysts from a Trusted Domain

Hello,
We are trying to allow users from a trusted domain as analyst for Cireson. We currently have our AD groups configured as Global, but in order to add users from the other domain, we need to set them as Domain Local. The issue we run into is with notifications. We currently are using the Console App Tier Mappings with individual DG's for each analyst group.

Do we have to use separate DG's for the Console App Tier Mappings or can we use the same analyst groups that we currently have for Portal Group Mapping settings? We need assistance on figuring out the best way that we can make this work to add users from another domain as analysts and still keep all of the notifications associated. I have been asked to get a call together where we can discuss what our options are and advised that this is a top priority and need to get it looked into as soon as possible.

    Hi Josh,

    You should be able to use the same AD groups in the Console App Tier Mappings and the Portal Group Mappings. The use of Domain Local groups is recommended as the group membership can be easily queried from the local domain context.
