Cireson, world leaders in Microsoft Cloud and System Center, today announced the release of the Cireson Lifecycle Management app in conjunction with the new Cireson Services Migration offering. With the forthcoming release of Service Manager 2016 by Microsoft, Cireson’s goal is to help organizations migrate their environment with confidence and ease through automation and configuration. Used in conjunction, these new solutions help organizations migrate from one Service Manager environment to another, reducing manual effort, cleanup and modification, while promoting standardization and consistency between environments.  Additionally, the entire suite of Cireson solutions is Service Manager 2016 ready, so organizations can immediately take advantage of new functionality to maximize their IT investments and reach their success goals.

“Migration initiatives can take a vast amount of time, require very deep skills, knowledge, and expertise, in addition to extensive planning and orchestration,” says Shaun Ericson, Joint Founder, Cireson. “With decades of System Center experience, we’ve seen firsthand the time-consuming, manual effort organizations face when migrating from one environment to another. To help alleviate these frustrations and enable ridiculous productivity, we’ve created a unique package of the bleeding-edge tools and Services necessary to greatly reduce manual migration efforts including cleanup and modification, while helping ensure data integrity.”

When moving environments, Cireson recommends a managed Migration with the Cireson Services Team to provide a cohesive, automated experience. From planning, implementation, movement and testing to system-wide training, their team of System Center experts will help ensure your organization has the tools and knowledge to deploy and migrate environments in the future with ease.

Paul Sutton, Joint Founder, Cireson, adds, “As every organization is different, we know that no two migrations are alike. No matter an organization’s needs, our Microsoft System Center experts will collaborate to determine their goals, evaluate current and proposed architectural landscapes and provide a customized migration plan to ensure the desired outcomes are met. Not only will their current migration be successful, but the Lifecycle Management can help with future Service Manager initiatives, including Service Manager consolidation between environments, performance improvements and true lifecycle management.”

The Cireson launch coincides with Microsoft Ignite, one of the industry’s premier global technology events, currently taking place September 26 – 30 in Atlanta. As a leading community voice and Microsoft Cloud and System Center expert, Cireson will be on-hand to showcase the new Lifecycle Management app, in addition to other popular Service and Asset Management solutions for Microsoft Service Manager and Configuration Manager, including the recently released Cireson Self-Service Portal – Community. Visit Cireson at booth 2182 in the expo hall or join Cireson Wednesday, September 28th for Happy Hour at the W Hotel.

Is this something that will be available to existing Customers in the Business Management Solution Stream? Seems like this tool would be very useful for copying data between environments or potentially even for feature enhancements/elevations. Excited to hear more details!

I mentioned this to Shaun when I saw him, but for the record, I would be keen to see the migration tool export to a intermediate transferable package (XML files?) from the source environment and then be able to use this package to migrate to the target environment rather than having to be connected to both source and target environment at the same time, this would help us migrate between isolated environments (between organisations or isolated networks for example).
