Better options for Request Offerings forms

It seems like the options for Request Offerings are limited to what Service Manager can offer, since they are created there. If a full blown shopping cart experience is not going to be implemented, perhaps a minor addition to the request  forms can be implemented in the portal?

Would it be possible to have  the ability to show pictures, URL links and knowledge articles based on whats picked in the form?

Example: In the form the user can pick between 3 different keayboards to order. They pick one and get presented with additinal text, link, picture or a knowledge article.

Currently one can add a display only text prompt, but that doesnt look any good. You have no formatiing options.

Link to the feature request for full-blown shopping cart experience.

But this is a great feature request with or without the shopping cart (preferably with!).

There are some truly mediocre service catalogs out there from other vendors that have very similar UI to what is described here.  (And also...shopping carts...but I digress)

I do not think it is necessary to recreate Amazon.com here or even something like the Apple or Dell (etc.) customization forms in their web stores, but subjecting users to static tables or dropdowns of asset names is not something we want to keep doing for much longer.

Some of this could be achieved using HTML in Display Only prompts combined with the Advanced Request Offering features.

Prompt 1: Keyboard Type (Simple List)

Prompt 2-5: HTML including text and image (Display Only Text)

Using the Layout, you can make Prompt 2-5 show only when Keyboard Type = x, y or z.

Sounds great. But I cant seem to find any way to add HTML. How do you accomplish that?

In the request Offering settings, Create a text "display only" field, and then you can add your own custom HTML into that specific field.
    e.g. <b>Some Title</b>

    Hope this helps,

if you look at my post https://community.cireson.com/discussion/1009/customizing-the-layout-of-advanced-request-offerings-portal-version-6-0#latest it gives you a lot on how to use HTML to customize the look of your forms.

Whoops, I missed your reply @Suleyman_Ozden.

You can enter HTML in the prompt titles, as @Adrian_Paech has demonstrated. This is OK for all prompt titles, but using a Display Only text prompt will prevent the HTML from showing up in your User Inputs control in the SR form.

Try entering the following into the prompt title:

    <img src="YOUR PUBLICLY AVAILABLE URL HERE">

    E.g.

Personally, I place these images in a ..\CustomSpace\Images folder.

I would still like a Cireson based way to handle the offerings which could include easier ways to handle HTML.

The current option to create the offerings are restricted to SCSM and I have already had some issues there with offerings that suddenly went corrupt and icons that just would not show up. The corrupt offering had me recreate a complex and time comsuming offering from scratch.

So hopefully a we can get a portal based offering creation.
