Cireson Asset Excel app

I am using the Cireson Asset Excel app. The app woks fine fort Contracst and Administration Items, but when I use the Seach item for Software Assets it wil not retrieve any data. I used % wildcards but nothing happens. How can I load Software Assets in my Excel sheet?

Hi @Ad_Bruil

First thing to check is the version of the Add-In.
Always make sure you are running the latest version in case there are known issues.

Next, I assume you are just clicking the Search button, and with Hardware Asset selected from the drop down list, you enter % as the Name search criteria and you get a message box like:

 
If you are able to edit existing Admin Items then the connection is working then check that there are valid hardware assets already in the SCSM DB. If there are no items already in the DB then the search will find nothing and new ones will need to be created.
