The base class for users is actually the Active Directory User or Group class.
How did you migrate the data from 2012 to 2016?
Did you migrate from an existing 2012 environment to a new 2016 environment?
Check that your AD Connector(s) are running and have successfully synced to the SCSM DB or the user will not be able to log on as the users name will not be available to logon.
