Announcement Access Groups
Currently using an announcement you have to assign an AD group that determines who will see what you are posting, but you can only pick one group. It would be great to be able to choose multiple groups.
For example, If I have an announcement for 3 departments out of 20, I would like to be able to set the announcement for just those 3 groups, but as it works currently, I have to choose one group, or set the announcement to go to everyone.

Bumping , upvoting and I probably might expand upon this idea in some form at some point to Cireson. The announcements part of the portal is not that usable due to this and yet the idea of "Announcements" has so much things in it on which Cireson could expand upon to make this a really good feature in the future. Also, thread is 4 years old so kind of necro, but the feature still isn't there yet, so might as well.
@Kevin_Goodwin
I know it might not be ideal, but could you not just create multiple groups as desired, then put them all into the parent group which you put in the settings in the portal? :-)

@Shane_White this is regarding having the ability to add multiple access groups for the announcement as in recipients of the announcement. Doing AD changes everytime when you want to send an announcement to multiple groups is just a no-no. It's like sending a mail with the ability to be only limited to 1 reciepient / group :)
Ahh sorry! My apologies, suppose the same principle would apply, but would be very messy so never mind!! 😜
To automate the process you could create the annoucement using the API and loop over an array of AD groups?
