Is there a limit on Knowledge articles?
Hi all,
I would like to know if there is a limit on the size of a knowledge article?
One of out knowledge managers had an incident where she had worked on a longer article for a whole day and now she lost all that work. When she finally tried to save it, it didnt really respond and in the end she had to leave.
So question is whether it was due to having it open all day without saving or was it due to the article being too big? What is most likely?

Chances are what happened is the web portal lost connection to the server in the background as it automatically disconnects after a set period of time to keep the connection fresh.
If this happens while editing a KB article I assume it then gets lost because it was originally created under a different credential set in the browser.
To have different functionality there would have to be a feature request.
I think it's such a good idea i have raised one for you here: https://community.cireson.com/discussion/2822/auto-save-kb-articles-every-x-number-of-minutes/p1?new=1
Feel free to vote and get as many people to vote on it as you can to make sure it gets high enough for the dev team to notice it.5
