Add mixed license options on a SW Asset

We have one internal domain, one factory net, one separated network and a DMZ. Only the internal are managed and inventoried with SCCM, but of course, a multitude of the products are installed on several networks. Whenever possible we will of course use the SCCM inventoried SW in SCSM for the SW Assets to count towards the attached licenses.. But.. The problem arises when we want to include the computers in the counts for the networks that are not inventoried in SCCM.
The option in the current ITAM version would as to our knowledge be to add an additional instance of the SW and add the non-inventoried PCs as named computers.. This is a really frustrating problem that we assume is fairly common.
A wanted scenario would be an option to combine the two scenarios - automatic instance discovery + additional named computers / users - where both would count towards the licenses. This would solve lots of our issues and would really make the product more useful for license mgmt.
