Knowledge article advice please

Has anyone managed to hide articles from end users if the end user section is empty?

How have other companies dealt with this? We could have largely analyst articles with some end user ones. However, our end users would comment on analyst articles saying they are unhelpful? Perhaps companies have disabled the comment/rating section for this reason?
