Adam_Dzyacky Product Owner Contributor Monkey ✭✭✭✭✭Apart from planning from some scheduled downtime, you'll...
- Need to upgrade core SCSM 2012R2 to SCSM 2016
- Apply any UR patches (unless you'll be deploying SCSM 1801)
- With core SCSM upgraded, proceed to upgrade all of your Cireson management packs from their 2012 to 2016 counterparts
- Then move on to deploy the 2016 version of the Cireson Portal
The portal installer doesn't really signify the difference between a fresh install vs. an upgrade. That said, as long as you're pointing the installer at the same databases it's assumed to be an upgrade. Settings are preserved and all would continue to run fine.5
