Change HW Asset's Config Man Inventory Date.

Brian_WinterBrian_Winter Customer Advanced IT Monkey ✭✭✭

Currently, when we look at an Asset's ConfigMgr Inventory Date, the date is derived from Config Man from the last hardware scan, which can sometimes be weeks old. Is there any way to change this value to the Last Logged On Date? It'd be nice to also have the PU be the last logged in person, too instead of the Most Frequent user algorithm (but that's secondary).

Thanks!

    @Brian_Winter - Anything is possible! 😁

    The "most frequent" is calculated in SCCM and that relationship is just brought into SCSM and that's what the HWA uses. You could run a separate workflow to update this relationship in SCSM based on last logged in user rather than what's coming from SCCM. You could also use that same workflow to adjust the Last Inventory date to be the Last Logged On date.
