Global Search Search Condition Contains instead of "Starts With"

Sometimes it is really hard to find Objects inside the Global Search, especially Incidents or Service Requests, when the ID is not known and we want to search via Keywords inside the title.
With some testing it seems like the Global search uses "Starts with" or "equals" with the Searchstring as Criteria. That makes it really difficult to find what we are looking for. That leads to analysts wanting the old search back.
So IMO it would be great if at least the class property, which we choose as title for the selected class, could be searched via "contains".
