When is portal 6.0 expected to be releases?

No official release date for v6 yet, but Preview release 5.2 was released yesterday.
PR5.2 is the final preview release before v6 so it won't be too far away.

Remember, Preview Releases are not production ready and are not supported. They are made available for people to test the new functionality and get ready for the final release when it does ship.
If you do install it in test\dev and you discover an issue, please do log the issue as we are actively bug checking to make sure v6 is a great release.

I was just about to open a thread on "Cireson's new Portal UI?" along the lines of "It looks like Cireson is up to a lot of styling/CSS changes with regards to fonts, more grid like views with lines..." But i just loaded pr5.2 and it looks like these are now stock. Does the theme plan for v6 include a "Version 5 interface" etc?

Hi Aaron, No official news on this as yet.
The Dev team are reviewing this as we speak and hopefully will provide more details ahead of the release of v6.

Hi Adam,

You're right. We have been working to clean things up across the Portal UI (primarily to help usability) as we also work to implement our adaptive / small screen UI.

I'd love to learn more. What specific things are you finding concerning in the latest update (and why)? Or is the concern primarily around the appearance changing in general and the effects that can cause?
