Custom Tasks for other forms (e.g. Knowledge Article)

This might be a means to resolving several other feature requests while enabling new ones.

Please let us add custom tasks to the KB and Announcement forms!  Ideally, this would include both OnReady tasks and those that live in the Tasks pane.

This could be a good way to open the door to using templates in KB articles, for example, which was a great feature request that has already been made.  It could also make it easier to implement article review / approval, as another example.

Along the same lines, could we please enable tasks for closed Work Items?  I made a different feature request for that, and it was not submitted for voting...it's just stuck.  There are still plenty of operations that make sense to perform against closed work items that do not involve updating them.  Perhaps tasks that should appear for closed items could include an optional parameter ("visibleWhenClosed=True", default is False) so that no existing task definitions would need to be updated?
