Re: Approve Request Directly from Email
We have something similar to this set up in our environment. There's no way (as far as I know) to directly approve it right from an email button, but you can set it up to do essentially the same thing by using a mailto link. There are 3 parts to it: 1. Setting the Exchange Connector up to listen for specific keywords… -

Advice for 1/3/5 year roadmap
I'm the technical architect behind the service management solution for a multi-national conglomerate. I have been tasked with the one, three, and five year roadmap when it comes to architecting the future. I was hoping for any friendly advice for the future in crafting the goals that I will be putting forth. So far over… -
Re: Is it possble to remove the time from the date picker?
The above code did work for me to mask the time from users, on portal 8.1 (have not looked at it again recently on 8.2), so clearly there is something different about our environments. That would not be at all surprising, if true. However, remember that the datetimepicker includes time. You may be able to mask the time… -
Re: Search query returns wrong results
From what I've been able to gather the discrepancy is most likely due to the search's value for 'Today' being relative to the server's timezone vs. the UTC timezone that Resolved/Completed/Closed is stored in. Recreating your search parameters in my environment shows that anything within UTC-8 vs. UTC is returned: To work… -
Re: Service Request Area
I would do it differently now, if I were starting over. But I created a custom list and hid the default. It seemed like the better option in nearly every way, at the time. There is wide support for this method in the Cireson products, and it worked flawlessly in both the console (which we do not use, except to create… -
Re: Asset Management Locations
Thank you for your response! I am hoping to use Asset Management for a multitude of different uses, and reporting is going to be a large part of it. Here's a few examples of what I would like to get out of Asset Management, and why proper usage of locations is important: 1. Catalog Item Purchase Forecasting and Planned… -
Re: Modify content in DWDataMart Possible?
You can indeed update the DWDataMart, personally I recommend to update both DWRepository and then DWDataMart. Cause DWDataMart pulls from DWRepository. "But this doesn't follow ITIL standards" .... and Microsoft does?!? >:) [I can see it now: "No comment" "Yeah, you don't archive comments Microsoft!" "That's not what we… -
Re: Different colors on rows in gridview
@Mikkel_Madsen Here is the code we have in our custom.css , just as a FYI each alternate table row on the grid views gets a class of 'k-alt' which is what we use to set the alternate colouring etc We went for keeping the same greyish look, but every 2nd line darker just to make it easy to visually seperate them/*<br> * alt… -
Re: Example: Cireson SCSM Portal on Docker Windows Containers
Step 3: Portal Docker Build If you not familiar with docker, I’d recommend following the examples on the docker website here. First we need to automate everything the portal needs in order to get built, which we declare in a dockerfile. Luckily the Cireson Portal comes already scripted in PowerShell for all the pre-reqs…
