Working with Cloud Only Active Directory

alex_kokinalex_kokin Member IT Monkey ✭

Has anyone been able to work with a Cloud Only situation? My company has decided to use Cloud Only and not do any Dir Sync to the Onprem domain for users and groups. How can I get the user and group objects from O365 into my SCSM?

@joivan_hedrick Didn't you set something up like this in Austin?

I set this up using Azure AD Connect, and IaaS, e.g. a Portal server set up in Azure hybrid-joined to my domain. It worked quite well, but was not o365-only. I initially wanted to use only o365 credentials to log in to the Portal, but unfortunately my Azure environment lacked the license/tenancy ($$$) to properly configure it. I don't have the answer you're looking for quite yet; it's been on my to-do list ever since :(
